Jodi, a Coast Salish native, grew up in Ladner, British Columbia. This small town on
the mighty Fraser River was originally a fishing and farming community. The river and
surrounding coastal areas provided much of the inspiration and subject matter for
Jodi’s native art. At the age of 15, he began taking courses from renowned native
artists on the basic drawing and design of Haida & Salish art. After 22 years of working
with wood & 10 years of producing limited edition prints, Jodi has entered a new
medium - gold & silver jewelry.
